The structure and principle of hydraulic classifier
The body of hydraulic classifier takes shape of a cone-style box, consisting of the top cylinder and bottom taper. High-efficiency separation is finished in the grading rooms, which are divided into rooms of coarse particle and fine particle. It uses the technology of hypo-gene water to achieve the separation of minerals. Slurry in the center of coarse particles room comes vertically into the bottom distribution plate through pressures pipes. The hypo-gene water comes into the grading room of coarse particles through the circular seam between the distribution plate and the wall of coarse particle room. The eddy flow at the bottom of coarse particle room makes a classifier of large-size mineral particles. Through the mineral separation technology above, coarse particles are expelled from the center hole of discharge gate. While fine mineral particles come into their circular grading room by the means of overflow. Fine and tiny particles are classified by the technology of fluidization in the grading room. The hypo-gene water spread in the bottom of fine particle room through the sieve installed with a certain height from the floor, ensuring to form a steady fluidized bed. In this way, the classifier of fine particles is finished. Tiny particles flow side by side in the annular groove around the room of fine particles. Fine particles fall down at the bottom of their grading room, discharged from the annular valve around the sieve. An online measurement of slurry density controls decides the speed of discharging speed and the opening of each valve. Having known the fluid load at the worksite, operators can change the height of fluid bed and the discharge of hypo-gene water. By the operation above, the size of fine and tiny particles are adjusted as required. In addition, the thickness and flow rate of final products can be adjustable according to operation. Operators can adjust the flow of hypo-gene water based on the size of mineral particles, density of slurry, grade of ore and so on. Meanwhile, operators also can adjust the pressure of the sieve surface, in this way, an accurate classifier of mineral particles can be achieved.

At last, overflow pours from the top of last grading room. The wall of each grading room is made of steel glass so that operators can clearly watch the classifier course.
