Brief Introduction of Zenith’s LM Series Vertical Mill
As an energy-saving grinding plant, LM Series vertical mill is an advanced grinding machine, which integrates drying, milling, grading and transporting in one. It is the high standard mill which can meet the high capacity of powder producing request. LM vertical grinding mill is widely used in open-pit mining, cement making, powder station, metallurgy, chemical and non-metal industry. Working Principle of Zenith’s LM Series Vertical Mill
The motor drives the grinding table through decelerator. Materials fall down the center of grinding table from the opening. At the same time, hot air comes into the mill from the air inlet. Due to the centrifugal force, materials move to the edge of the grinding table. The materials are pulverized by the roller. The crushed materials are brought up by vane high-speed airstream, the larger particles fall down to the grinding table for regrinding. When materials in the airstream pass through the separator on the top of the mill, the coarse powder falls down the grinding table for regrinding under the function of rotation rotor. The fine powder comes out with the airstream, and is gathered by the dust catcher. The materials content with moisture will be dried when they meet the hot airstream. Through adjusting the temperature of the hot airstream, it can meet different material’s requirement, and also through adjusting separator, it can reach proper fineness of materials.

1. The whole plant is a vertical structure of strong systematic characteristic, so it occupies small area. 2. From crushing of raw material to grinding and packing is an independent production system. Compared with other milling plants, its passing ratio achieves 99%, this is what other mill cannot reach. 3. Driving system of main frame adopts airtight gearing and pulley, drives smoothly and operates reliably. 4. The electric control system is centralized controlled, so the automaticity is high, no people are needed in the operating room. 5. Energy-saving.

Note: 1. Input material should be brittle material with Mohs hardness not more than seven.
2. Hot air is needed only when there is a requirement that water percentage of final product should be less than raw material.
3. If the material is hard to grind, motor power take large value.
