As for the construction industry, it is rapidly growing and is expected to attract investments of around USD 7.3 billion by 2015. Nowadays, with the rapid development of construction industry, the demand for limestone processing plant significantly increases, especially in Egypt, where more and more local businessmen have imported sets of limestone production line from China. Here we focus on our limestone processing plant used in Egypt.

Case Study

Location: Egypt Customer: an aggregate producer Application: The quarry contractor wants to invest in aggregate industry, and he would like to produce aggregate for highway use. Details: The customer wants to build a highway sand production line, with the capacity of 150t/h. The feeding size of limestone rock is about 500-600mm. And the final products have several types and shapes.

Solution Offered by Zenith Engineers

According to his requirement, Zenith engineers design the aggregate in Egypt, including two jaw crushers, one impact crusher, vibrating feeder, belt conveyor and vibrating screen. Here is the whole process of crushing: 1. The big limestone rocks are put into the vibrating feeder (1100*4200) by the truck, and then they will be put into the cavity of the jaw crusher (PE 750*1060) evenly under the function of vibrating feeder. Zenith’s PE series jaw crusher has a large cavity, so stones of 500-600mm can be easily crushed by it. After crushing, the size of limestone can reach 80-140mm, and the first step finishes. 2. In order to make the size smaller, the limestone particles should been crushed by PE jaw crusher again. Then, considering the hardness of limestone, we use an impact crusher in the secondary crushing. When processing stones, the impact crusher is very popular among customers due to many advantages, such as big capacity, high reduction ratio, and uniform shape of final product, etc. The feeding size of PF1315 can reach around 200mm. 3. After two crushing stages, the size of products can meet the demands of our customer. However, how to classify them according to size is a tough question. Our vibrating screen can solve the problem. And we decide to choose the model 3YK2160 and 3YK1548 screen in view of the 150TPH capacity. To improve the efficiency, we install a conveying system in the production line. And the whole crushing process is over.
